This week our weekly reader pamphlet has led us through various aspects of fire safety. We had a lot of fun adding a new feature to our monthly fire drill. When the alarm goes off, we STOP … DROP… and then CRAWL to the back door and out the door. Of course the older children knew exactly what to do and being able to follow instructions. It took a little training for the younger ones to get the hang of crawling out the back door. So funny. We practiced several times. Even Ms. Karen got down and crawled to the back door … and believe me that wasn’t easy on my “robo-knees”. LOL!!!!!!!!!
This week we began our Bible studies of Noah which is this month’s topic. The story of Noah opens up so many fun exercises and discussions for children. In math we’ve been sorting and working with patterns. Lots of fun for all ages. We played with playdough again which is one of the favorites. Phonics and Opposite Words
Art folders will go home next Friday and will have our work for two week. Also library books will go home on that day.
Have a blessed weekend.
