March … A brand new month – typically the windy month. This month we will develop and observe habitats for lady bugs, ants, crickets and butterflies. We will watch carrot, onion and radish seeds grow in our view garden (previously worm farm). We will create another book to take home – this one about lady bugs. We will hope for a windy day to launch our paper plate kites we will make. Lot’s of exciting plans.
On Monday’s Bible day we heard another of Jesus’ parables – the Good Samaritan. We must all try to be good Samaritans and help our friends and neighbors when they need help. Tuesday’s Science day was all about life cycles. We are having a lot of fun learning about all the different bugs. Wednesday’s Literacy day was a study of the letter “S”. We did coloring sheets, printing on our own, and made a very long snake. On Thursday we practiced recognition and printing of the number “7”. We also made three pages to our Ladybug book. Friday we did sponge painting and had a lot of messy fun. We also planted our carrots, radishes & onions in our view garden.
Have a blessed weekend.
