“Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” This was our memory verse we learned on our Monday Bible day. Jesus chose twelve disciples to travel with him and spread the good news of redemption. As your little one about the disciples, how many there were and have your child repeat the memory verse. With just a little help, all were able to recite our verse. These are really smart children.
On Tuesday’s Science day we looked at the concept of “melting” ice cubes, chocolate pieces (yum), candles. Lot’s of fun. We made astronaut helmets and practiced our moon walk! This week’s letter is “N” and we worked very hard on differentiating between M & N. We worked on our countdown book and worked with our galaxy sticker board. Friday we practiced our fine motor coloring.
We were able to go outside two days this week. The children really love going outside. On the days we are not able to go outside we clear the room and put the tables to the side to open up as large a space as possible for running and big exercises. Inside large motor skills this week included learning several new exercises … somersault, log roll, frog jump. Our little guys are really great at doing the somersault … try it at home.
