Summer is here and we’ve taken a break from our structured curriculum format and are geared up for a fun filled time of fun in the sun. In addition to our usual outside fun, we will have backyard picnics, outside easel painting and water play. It will be very informal and impromptu. LOL! Time to rest!
I hope everyone had just as fabulous a time as I did at the end of year party. Attached is a link to the extraordinary pics Stephanie took for us. BTW – slide show in the daycare room as well as the CD copy everyone received was produced also by Stephanie. A great, great, great big “thank you” for her hours of work on this project and for all the work she does on the web site. Also, a great big thank you to Sandra, Cassima, Stacy, and Stephanie for helping out so much last night. Obviously, I could not have done it without the assistance. As you could see, I was not moving around very well because of a fall I took earlier in the afternoon during the party preparation. Clumsy me.
At the party we had a delicious Mexican buffet with margaritas, the children enjoyed breaking open a piñata filled with lots of candy, the front room in the house was set up with all the new curriculum and study aids for our 2009-2010 school year which begins September 1st and an opportunity for some wonderful fellowship. We missed Sloane’s mom Jessica, Davis’ mom Sue, Xander and his dad Wes and Aaron’s dad and brother Shane and Ethan. Hopefully the pics can enable you to enjoy the event. And finally, thank you all for coming but mostly for allowing me to care for your child … I love each one of them.
Hugs to all.
