First month of the summer is coming to a close and oh what fun we have had. Although I said we would not have a formal curriculum for the summer, we have been and will continue to work throughout the summer on number related activities. I hope for the older toddlers to be able to recognize their numbers by the end of the summer so that will be our focus. Any projects or papers we do will go home as we do them instead of holding them till the end of the month.
We welcomed our new baby Zachary Sutton this month. He is such a good little baby. Emma and Ava are enjoying sitting at the table with the big guys, drinking from a cup and eating some of the foods from the toddler menu.For those that are not aware, Sloane’s last day with us if June 17th. She and her family are moving to North Carolina. We will miss little miss Sloane very much.
Friday we had fun in the water. It’s just about the only way we can tolerate the heat so we will do it frequently and on an impromptu basis.
