We’ve had a great week. On Monday we talked about the story of Abram and Lot (uncle and nephew) in our study of God Made Families. “And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.” Genesis 13:8. God has given us families to support us, guide us in our choices and help us in times of trouble. We discussed ways we can help our mommies and daddies at home … setting the table, picking up our toys, picking up our towel when we take a bath, etc. Families help each other and we are learning how we can help our own family. On Tuesday we talked about the leaves changing colors and making wise food choices from our food pyramid. BTW, we have enough food wrappers and containers now. Thank you to everyone that helped by providing from your home. Wednesday’s literacy day was all about E. Thursday and Friday we worked on our dinosaur book.
Next week I will be away for the week on my last week of vacation. We are taking my mom on a driving vacation to see the fall foliage in Arkansas. In my absence, Ms Cassima will be here to lead the toddlers in their activities. I will be here ready for a new week on Monday, October 26th.
Have a blessed weekend.
